Tomorrow, April 4, in the Catholic calendar is the feast day of St. Isidore of Seville. He was a 7th century bishop and philosopher. For our purposes, he was the author of the Etymologies, which served as an encyclopedia of the knowledge of his day. For this reason, he has been proposed as the patron saint of the Internet. But don't blame him for spam and computer viruses. For more information about St. Isidore, here is an article from the online version of the Catholic Encyclopedia: http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/08186a.htm and one from Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isidore_of_Seville
By the way, the patron saint of libraries is St. Jerome, whose feast day is on September 30. We'll talk about him later.
